How Bookings Work on Tatiya
Booking Types
A booking type is something people can reserve at your space. Think of it as a template that defines:
- What it's called ("Morning Yoga" or "Pottery Workshop")
- How long it lasts
- How many people can attend
- When it happens (schedule)

Schedules
Once you create a booking type, you add it to your schedule. You can:
- Set recurring sessions (e.g., every Monday at 6pm)
- Add one-off sessions (e.g., a special workshop next Saturday)
- Mix both for flexibility
The Visitor Experience
When someone visits your website:
- They see your booking types — each one says whether it's a Group session (and how many can join) or a Private one-to-one
- They click to view the schedule
- They pick a date and time that works
- They reserve their spot
- They get a confirmation
No back-and-forth messaging required.
Group or Private appears on the booking list, on the booking page, and again at checkout. Set it when you create a booking type — it's the first thing most visitors want to know, and the thing they used to have to guess at.
